CALGARY - The court martial of a Calgary reservist has heard details of the bloody aftermath of a training accident in Afghanistan more than two years ago. Cpl. Josh Baker, who was 24, died when a Claymore anti-personnel mine packed with 700 steel balls raked a Canadian Forces platoon. Cpl. Tyson Edworthy said he was just metres away and he and the company medic provided immediate assistance. He said Baker had blood coming out of his mouth and a dime-sized hole in his chest.
